I don’t know if anyone noticed or not but this site (as well as some others) were unavaliable for several hours yesterday and I would like to applogize for that. It appers that Rob and I goofed a little bit when we were messing around with Apache the other night and forgot to set some permissions whuch had the effect of giving everyone that lovley forbidden error message. 
So a big oops on our part but everything is working now. I just finished midterms and all I can say is thank god! This week has been hell but things are looking up as i am heading out to have lunch with some friends of mine and then its off to work and then I’m hitting Billards tonight to hang out and unwinde while I watch a local band perform. I think I managed to stop these little buggers now and all without using a single plugin! If you have not already done so I suggest that you disable proxies in your wordpress installs as most of the spam bots use those as well I suggest that you block words that you do not want to appear anywhere on your comments, I used the build in blacklist feature to not allow posts using certian words and so far no spam posts (at least till they adapt to this technique)! I will make a real post later after my midterms this week.

Last night my frind Andy came over and hung out as well as to get ahold of some photoshop things. I also found out that I will be the Best Man in his wedding! Andy and Krystal what are you getting me into! I don’t know how to plan a Bachleor party and whatnot!

Today was a pretty good day. Why is this you ask? Well one of the main reasons is that after a 19 some odd year struggle my university has finally won a disbute whith the state legistlature to rename my univeristy from Southwest Missori State University to Missouri State University. Of of the biggest pushes for this name change is to more acuretly reflect the size and scope of SMS. The college is the second largest univeristy in the state and has a pretty diverse range of facilities and resources to offer to students and the public and to be honest I really do not see why it took such a long time to acommplish the change. Kansas has both Kansas University and Kansas State University so why shouldn’t Missouri have Missouri University and Missouri State University. I’m by no means an expert on this topic but the slight federal budget increase would be nice and I won’t have to put up with people thinking that I attend a junior college because southwest is in the title of my school.
Anywys, the other thing thats is extremly cool is that the newest version of Cart32 was released today and it should address many of the concerns and features requested by our customers as it is about a 98% rewrite of the current version. At any rate it should make the next few days at work interesting as everyone rushes to upgrade their cart to the newest version and we deal with all the bugs and install questions that I am sure will come up.
