Hey everybody here at long last is the post about what the hell I did over SPring Break. In short not a whole lot! Over Easter I went to visit my grandparents in Topkea, Kansas where I spent most of my time watching Office Space, The Incredibles, The Day After Tommorrow, and some anime show that my suitemate Shawn insisted that I watch called, Fafner in the Azure: Dead Aggressor. Which wasn’t bad but the ending sucked and left me feeling empty, but apperently this thing is popular enough to have spawned a game so maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about.
One notworthy event that happened over Easter was that I woke up on Sunday to a voicemail on my cell phone from my friend April in a panic claiming that she had fried the motherboard on her computer. I called her back and told her that I would look at it when I got back in Springfield. Her computer was not fried (that’s a shame as it would have given me an excuse to help her shop for shiny new hardware but alas
) but it appears that she tripped a power surge protection that was built into her motherboard when she was changing out a harddrive when the computer had not totally shut down.
For the rest of the week all that I really did was play World of Warcraft , spend a lot of time on the phone with people who can’t use their shopping carts at work, and watch all of the episodes of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica. I also enjoyed vegging in front of the History Channel which is one of channels that I just watch as often as possilbe. Thats all for now so everyone take care.
Update: As my brother reminded me my family also went camping on Thuresday through Saturday and I must have had a brain fart to have forgotten that.
We went down to Blancard Springs, Arkansas and the weather was excellent for once and we were not totally cut off from the world as Matthew brought his XM radio with him. It was a good thing that he did or we proabably would have missed out of the huge news that the Pope, John Paul II was on his deathbead. Matthew and I stayed up late listening to the news and hoping that he would recover. He did not as we all know and one of the great figures in this new century is no longer in this world and they are still deciding who the next Pope will be. Ok, its time to wrap this up and hop into the shower so I won’t miss class. ![]()
