A little humor to mark the end of Spring Break

My Spring Break week is almost over so I thought a little humor was in order. Enjoy! :D

WordPress 2.0.2 Released

The WordPress team has release version 2.0.2 of their popular software. This version fixes a few bugs and some security fixes that they were not that specific on. U have no idea how vulnerable my site was but I figure its better to do a quick update than get h4×043d. ;) I am considering updating K2 as well but I think Michael and Chris might be unveiling a major update this week. As always please report any bugs, etc. :)

Downtime

Sorry for the downtime the last couple of days. Apparently, Apache decided it would be fun to use up all available memory and CPU clock cycles until the entire server keeled over. We recompiled Apache and this seems to have returned everything to normal. We are considering upgrading the operating system of the server some time this week. More on that if it happens, I hope everyone is doing well. :)

Just some food for thought. :)

Well, this does explain quite a bit doesn’t it?

This is an image of a screenshot from Windows Vista Beta 2 that shows a new feature alerting users to programs that slow down their computer.

I found this picture first via Binarybonsai that refers back to this post over at this blog. It shows an interesting new feature of Windows Vista that shows you when a program makes your computer startup slower that it should. I think this is a really interesting idea because it could help people find spyware and other nasty stuff. If you would like to read more about Windows Vista you should really check out this really excellent article over at ExtremeTech that has some really good coverage of the new features. go check it out! :)
