President Bush cast the first veto of his 5 1/2-year presidency Wednesday, rejecting legislation to ease limits on federal funding for research on stem cells obtained from embryos. Disappointed lawmakers said they intended to keep pushing to lift the restrictions.
I know this is old news but I wanted to state that I personally am in favor of scientific research such as this, does anyone else have an opinion on this topic? I would love to hear from some readers no matter what you views are.
