Text-Link-Ads has released their advertising service for RSS feeds called Feedvertising. I am a proponent of Text-Link-Ads and their Feedvertising programs makes it easier for bloggers (especially those that use Wordpress) to display ads in their RSS feeds. Now you can offer ads from advertisers and also reserve spots to highlight your own links and sites.
I do not like having to place ads on my site at all but I do have to pay over $200 a month to pay for my server and bandwidth. TLA makes it very easy to implement their service via a Wordpress Plugin and they allow you to have total control over the ads that are displayed. I would rather offer ads from my readers, such as Paul Stamatiou has started to offer, but I doubt that I have the have enough readers (30 at the time of this writing according to Feedburner) to justify that. At any rate I will keep working with TLA and Adsense in hopes of finding some way to help fund my expenses. Go give Feedvertising a look.
Also. if you are interested in placing a text ad on my site have a look at this page.
