HowTo: Making WordPress and Mint’s Birdfeeder play nice

A quick little update for anyone who has upgraded to Mint 2 Kristin has posted a quick how to on making sure that your WordPress install can communicate properly with the Birdfeeder plugin for Mint. I have used these directions myself in lieu of the ones in the official readme file as they are more straightforward. Kristin has also gone ahead and included the edited filed to use on your own blog. A word of caution though:

I’m using the latest version of WordPress so I have no guarantees of this working with older versions. I can’t stress enough.
BACK UP THE FILES BEFORE YOU OVERWRITE THEM.
I’m taking 0 responsibility if you don’t.

If you have any successes or failures with applying this feel free to leave your thoughts below. :)
