But then some of them saw TV images of protesters holding the emblem and they alerted the authorities, according to Hong Kong’s Ming Pao newspaper. I upgraded to the latest and greatest version of WordPress, version 2.5 if your keeping track, it has taken me severl ahour to get back up as I as in a hurry and didnt take the tiem to back up files, etc. that the install notes recommend. I guess this goes to show that no matter how long you’ve been working with software there are always things that can go wrong.

I’m heading to Clarksville, Tennessee (its on the outskirts of Nashville BTW) later today to visit my good friends Andy and Crystal for a going away party for Andy. He is preparing to be shipped out to Afghanistan by the US Army in a few weeks and he is expected to be deployed anywhere from 16 to 18 months. He should be ok over there as his analyst duties should keep him on base most of the time, I hope they do as he and Crystal recently had a baby boy Darien.

I discovered this trick after much googling but it worked instantly for me after applying it.
1. Log onto your wireless router and find the page that lists the IP addresses for all of the computers on your local network.
2. Look for the name of your iPhone and write that IP down or paste it into your text editor of choice.
3. Fire up Terminal.app or Putty.
4. Type ssh root@ and hit enter.
5. You should now be prompted for the password for our iPhones root account, by default this is alpine.
6. Next, you should be prompted by your computer if you wish to accept the RSA key for the server your connecting to, type yes.
7. Type in cd /var/mobile/Library/
8. Type in chmod 777 Mail
9. Try launching Mail on your iPhone
