Toronto Propane Depot Explosion – Keele and Wilson 2008

I guess I missed this the other day, it was a pretty large explosion and you can see flaming propane tanks launch themselves into space!

Life has been nuts and work has been ridiculously busy so eventually I hope to get back into posting and I’m hoping that the Wordpress App for the iPhone will help with that. Anyways, how’s everyone doing?

Sorry for the prolonged downtime, I’m not sure what happened but I basically have had to reinstall Wordpress from scratch so it will be a couple of days while I sort things out.

Workers said they thought they were just making colorful flags and did not realize their meaning. But then some of them saw TV images of protesters holding the emblem and they alerted the authorities, according to Hong Kong’s Ming Pao newspaper. (Shows how well things are kept under wraps over there). Seriously what else can you add to that? You have to love the Human species.

Police in Congo have arrested 13 suspected sorcerers accused of using black magic to steal or shrink men’s penises after a wave of panic and attempted lynchings triggered by the alleged witchcraft. Apparently things are jumping out in the Congo so watch out!

I upgraded to the latest and greatest version of Wordpress, version 2.5 if your keeping track, it has taken me severl ahour to get back up as I as in a hurry and didnt take the tiem to back up files, etc. that the install notes recommend. I guess this goes to show that no matter how long you’ve been working with software there are always things that can go wrong.

There are way to many features to mention and truthfully Mat does a much better job explaining the new shininess in his blog post over at the wordpress Development Blog. Matt also announced that the 2.5 branch is nicknamed “Brecker”. “This is in honor of Michael Brecker, an exceptionally talented saxophonist who could cross styles effortlessly and never stopped experimenting and pushing himself until he passed away last year.”
