Ok the post your blog entries t twitter plugin didn’t work but the twitter sidebar widget did work, frustrating yes? But wait!, I found a plugin that does both (Thanks Kristin)! This plugin was written by Alex King and so far it works perfectly! 
I use several of his plugins so check them out!
