Why the RIAA Has Sued XM Satellite Radio

“Here in Washington, there is nothing more amusing than watching business interests work themselves up into a righteous frenzy over a threat to their monopoly profits from a new technology or some upstart with a different business model.”

This is a pretty good article IMO that discusses why the RIAA is seeking to sue the pants off of a much smaller entity that has a new type of service. This new service allows XM subscribers to record portions of their music onto compatible XM radios. I think this is a good example of fair use since you already pay a monthly fee to access XM in the first place. I use XM myself and I higly recommend it, go give the article a read!
